Trenches have started for the house addition…and the garage will be ready for the concrete foundation early next week!

In addition, you can now look for something in the fridge AND do your laundry at the same time! What a time saver!!
The laundry room will be demolished early next week.

We also found this old clothes drying post in the back ivy.

Over time the ivy has grown around it and now uses it as a support. I wish we knew more about the history of this house!

Dog Run

The Fence

It was exhausting enough to wake up at 7am on a Sunday morning, but we made it over to Home Depot to buy the materials for our dog run and return before our friend Ross arrived to help with construction.

The goal was to build a temporary fence that would hold Indiana while construction in the back yard was going on. To save time, we stripped out the gate I built last summer and attached it to one post we sunk into the ground. The fence itself should be easy to remove or rotate if it’s unscrewed from that post. Not bad for a few hours of work!
